| January 18 2003 and the crew of
the USS Ranger go on an away mission to Hyde Park, London to see Star Trek:
The Adventure. The journey there wasn't quite warp speed, but we got there in one piece without running into any hostile forces. |
| When we arrived, we all grouped together for a photo, and get hijacked by passers-by for photos of them with us. We were there for nearly 20 minutes. |
| After a small amount of time queuing, we finally made it inside and we were greeted by large models hanging above our heads. |
| Captain Teesdale felt right at home in the Ready Room |
| One of the first exhibits we saw as we entered the main hall of the exhibition was the Scorpion. This is the shuttle craft-type vessel that Picard piloted through the corridors of Shinzons ship. |
| Quarks bar was so real, you almost felt ready to shout out for the bar tender! It's a shame no one was serving from there. |
| DABO! Anyone fancy a game? What's that you say? The table is rigged. No! I don't believe you. |

There were exhibits from all the Star Trek movies. These are from Insurrection. The chair on the right is the Ba'ku 'skin stretching' chair. |
| From the movie, First Contact, this is the table that Data was bound to while the Borg Queen transplanted human skin on to him. |

| This picture, of a Borg alcove, will come in most useful when we continue to build and improve our own Borg Alcove. The Borg in this alcove looked very realistic. |
| This is the frame that Data used to re-assemble his older brother, B-4. |
| The mock up of the Original Series bridge was perfect. It was a shame you couldn't go and sit in the chair for a picture. |
| While we're in the mood for retro, let's take a look at the Torpedo room on Enterprise. |

| At last, the exhibit we were waiting for! The Adventure itself. This is Lt Commander Sojan Disav, the USS Rangers Science Officer, taking his position next to the Science Console on the bridge of the Enterprise D. |
Finally, after a fantastic day, battling with almost 6000 people, flying through Unimatrix 01 in a simulator and being attacked by a Borg Cube, it was time to return home. |
