This ground breaking television series from the late 1960's was formed from the dreams of one man, namely Gene Roddenberry.

It broke many taboos from that time and broached many subjects that simply wouldn't have been acceptable in any other TV programme.

Many of the morality issues that were addressed were topics such as Nazism, slavery, racism and sexism.  One of the most memorable events must be the first inter-racial kiss that was seen on television, the unforgettable moment when Kirk kissed Uhura.
