The USS Ranger is a Star Trek Club based in Netherton in the West Midlands, UK.  With Captain Ivor C Teesdale in Command, we have been serving the people of the Federation since July 1997.

On the 1st Friday of every month we dock at Netherton Conservative Club, Halton Street, Netherton where the crew members can relax and have the opportunity to meet with people who also like Star Trek, take part in quizzes and enter raffles for prizes.  Many of the prizes on offer, sometimes prove to be quite valuable and make an excellent addition into anyone's personal collection.

We have overcome many obstacles in the years we have been running, and we now consider ourselves to be one of the best Star Trek Clubs in the country.

Once or twice a year we organise events aimed at raising funds for our chosen charity, the County Air Ambulance.  On April 28 2001 we held our first Star Trek exhibition called "Ranger 2001: A Trek Odyssey" and raised a magnificent £900 for the Air Ambulance.
