Me and my partner of the time, Steve, fancied a bit of winter sun and so we packed our bags and went off to Thomas Cook to see what they could find for us.  They came up with a smashing little holiday for us in Los Christianos, Tenerife.

Even though most of the island of Tenerife is dry and barren, the North side of the island contrasts just like chalk and cheese.  The harsh landscape of the south amaze you as you drive North into the lush green plants just a few miles.
