The Kennedy Space Centre, based on the East coast of Florida is the home of the Space Shuttle.  Many of Americas space missions are launched from one of the sites here.  We were lucky enough to be there on the day an unmanned rocket was launched to deploy a satellite into orbit.

The site itself is huge!  A coach takes you around the complex to the various visitor centres which can be miles apart.
